Beach Description

When first stepping onto the beach. The taste of salt overwhelms the air. The crunching of the hot sand underneath people’s feet as they move around and them jumping or running because the sand burnt their feet becomes distinctive. The rustling of towels in the wind is heard, as people try to get settled in the perfect area to have the hot sun hit your skin. The aroma of salt and sunscreen has a calming effect of knowing that the day has just begun. The pelican are in the air soaring through the sky, the crabs are shuffling along the ground, and the waves are crashing along the shoreline. Kids are running around the beach building sandcastles and playing beach games. Near a pier, the aroma of food from the restaurants wafts by. People fishing off of the pier are so still and patient waiting for the perfect catch.

Seeing the beauty of the world around you reminds you of home and the comfort and peacefulness your home brings you. Influences and Outcomes of Building Sandcastles

When visiting the beach you almost always see sandcastles around you. People become influenced to build sandcastles for a number of reasons. People like to build sandcastles because it is one of many beach activities to build a traditional sandcastle, with moat included. Another reason people like to build sandcastles is to show off to others around them how well they can build one. Competitions for building sandcastles have to be the main reason why people want to build a sandcastle. Competing to see who can build the best sandcastle can be pretty entertaining and rewarding. An outcome of building a sandcastle, especially your first, is you gain a feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction. You especially feel that way once you meet new people who loved your sandcastle. Winning anything makes you feel amazing and if you won a sandcastle competition you feel like you accomplished such a great goal.

Peacefulness at the Beach

Every day we rush around: chauffeuring kids, working, and doing errands. Everyone wants a moment of peacefulness. They want a place to go relax and to calm their minds from the everyday stress. Some people go to different places to try to find the perfect place to relieve stress: spas, gyms, and parks. An amazing place to go to relax would have to be, the beach. The sound of the waves crashing and the cool wind blowing tends to have a calming effect. The beach is a calming place to sun bathe and to take long walks at night. If someone lives near the beach they can just open their window and listen to the sound of the waves crashing to help them fall asleep. If you don’t live near the beach, stores sell recordings of waves to help soothe you into a nice sleep in the middle of the country.

Loggerhead Sea Turtles

As I walking down the beach on a late summer night, I almost walked on a logger head’s nest. I thought about the long migration those turtles had to endure just to come to Florida to lay their eggs. I then realized that the baby turtles must be hatching soon and decided to watch them try to survive the adventure to the water. As soon as I made that decision, I witnessed out of the corner of my eye a slight movement in the sand by me. I became incredibly excited and then witnessed a tiny turtle struggle to come out of the sand. Remembering the laws I knew that I couldn’t help this turtle make the adventure to the water, he had to make that trip all by himself. Many dangers lie between him and that water. He could run into countless predators and die. When he finally reached the water, I was overjoyed with happiness for the baby turtle.
